Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!!!

Well, it's true that 2017 wasn't the most perfect year for our family, but we're so thankful for all the wonderful blessings that came our way. Especially this little blessing...

Among all of the presents, she's the greatest gift of all 😃

Looking back, I think we learned a lot about ourselves this year.

We learned that we could overcome anything. We discovered a deeper love of family and friends. We learned about our own faith and the power of the human (and Holy) spirit. And we found that great rewards come to those who take great risks.

We celebrated Christmas and New Years very quietly, but we couldn't have asked for a better holiday.

"Oh, how I love the holidays!" said Arabella.

This Christmas felt very surreal, because last year around this time things started to slowly unravel. We weren't sure what was in store for us in the future...

And here we are today, happy as ever with this great bundle of joy...

I want everyone (who reads this blog) to know how much your strength and support has meant to us. We're in debt to so many of you who went out of your way to show us such kindness and generosity.

We couldn't have done this by ourselves...

This Christmas and New Year, during my quiet moments of reflection, I was thinking about how thankful I am for all of you guys, and all of the beautiful gestures that made us feel so amazing and special.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you so much. All the best to you guys in this new year 💗

Dan, Kiera & Arabella

  2. Thanks to YOU for sharing the journey with us, you have been witnesses to God's love and you have taught many people about parental love, sacrifice and the miracle of life! One day you will use your story to show how precious life is from conception and perhaps help change the current culture in Canada, where abortion is legal at any stage and people choose to remain silent about it.

    1. Thanks Agnieszka! I couldn't have said it better myself. Life is so precious. I hope this story reaches out to as many people as possible. Although fragile, people need to know that even the tiniest preemies can fight and pull through, if they just have faith and hope!
