Isn't she lovely?

"Isn't she lovely? Isn't she wonderful?"

Stevie Wonder said it best, man.

"Isn't she pretty
Truly the angel's best
Boy, I'm so happy
We have been heaven blessed
I can't believe what God has done
Through us he's given life to one
But isn't she lovely made from love
Isn't she lovely..."

"Isn't She Lovely" was written about Stevie's newborn daughter, Aisha (her name is in the song if you read the full lyrics). He was ecstatic over her birth and was inspired to write the hit.

The 60s and 70s were such a great time for music...

What a fantastic tune, and I couldn't have said it better myself. He describes that parental love and affection in the most perfect way. The song is a beautiful expression of thanksgiving.

And we certainly have a lot to be thankful for.

Miss Lovely really is wonderful. She's a great girl, and she's made Kiera and I so happy.

She's such a tremendous joy in our lives.

Each day is filled with a few quiet moments where we think to ourselves, "Aren't we ever so lucky?"

You have to send your thanks to heaven every day, because it's easy to forget.
We are heaven blessed, and we are all witnesses to what God has done.
